Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) students in Lucknow have gone to social media to demand online exams. The university has issued an application form for the odd semester exams, which will be held in an offline format, according to the university. Students are afraid that the unexpected increase of Omicron instances in India could jeopardise their ability to take physical tests.

The pupils further stated that over four lakh students are expected to take the examinations, putting everyone at danger. Students took to Twitter to demand #AktuOnlineexam and #PostponeSemesterExam, using the hashtags #AktuOnlineexam and #PostponeSemesterExam.
AKTU had already declared that exams would begin in the last week of December for all semesters except the first, third, and lateral entrants. Next year's lateral entry tests will take place in the last week of February. It has been stated that the odd semester exams will be held, with registrations open until December 16 on the official website at aktu.ac.in.
