IIT Madras; First Phase Of Campus Placements Over with 46 International Offers

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, had a stellar performance in the first phase of campus placement. In the academic year 2021-22, the Institute received a number of excellent offers for students. For this year's campus placement, 1500 students applied. 73 percent of pupils received job offers from various businesses.

In the second half of January, the second stage of campus placement will commence. In the first phase, 226 companies visited the campus, offering approximately 1,085 packages. A total of 45 overseas offers were given to the students by 14 different companies. On December 10, the first round of campus placements at IIT Madras came to an end.


62 start-ups were also invited to the institute to offer students job opportunities. As a result, 186 job offers were made to students. Rakuten Mobile made offers to 11 students from all across the world. Honda R&D, Cohesity, Accenture Japan, Media Tek, Money Forward, Uber, Glean, and Toyota R&D were among the other overseas proposals.
