Online International Conference organized at IIMT College of Pharmacy

Located in the city's Knowledge Park, IIMT College of Pharmacy Organized an online international conference on Tuesday . Experts, educationists and students from leading institutions of the country and abroad participated in this program. Dr. Suharsh Shah of Medical Science Contact, Hematology, Novartis America was the chief guest in the program. Dr. Raghav Sriramaneni, Department of Human Oncology, University of Wisconsin, USA, Dr. M. Bala Sundaram, Biochemistry Unit, AIMST University, Kedah, Malaysia and Dr. Nagasekhar, School of Pharmacy, Monash University, Selangor, Malaysia participated.

About 300 students participated in the conference. During the webinar, discussions were held on "Covid-19; Recent Developments, Challenges and Opportunities in Pharmaceutical Sciences". On this occasion, Dr. Suharsh Shah said that Kovid-19 has provided an opportunity to reconsider the basic nature of development. This pandemic has forced us to do a deeper analysis on the health infrastructure. India's governance system is not considered good in global standards, but the way Indian doctors controlled Covid is commendable. At the same time, he said that it is time to strengthen the health infrastructure in the country at the village level.

Simultaneously, in the online international conference, many students asked many types of questions about pharmaceutical sciences. In the program, Mallika Arjun BP, Director, IIMT College of Pharmacy said that pharma companies contributed a lot during the Corona period. During the lockdown, the companies did not allow any shortage of medicines inside the country. At the same time, many experts including Associate Professor Dr. Debabrata Mandal of NIPER University gave their views.
