United Group of Institutions's Students Visit Mother Dairy's Biggest Plant in Delhi

On 04 December 2021, United Group of Institutions, Greater Noida made an industrial visit to "Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt Ltd, Patparganj" with the theme "Understanding the practical knowledge of Dairy Product Manufacturing Process".

To enable the students of United Group of Institutions, Greater Noida to develop understanding in the areas of marketing strategies, market segmentation and distribution channels, branding, packaging, R&D, various of high quality dairy products like milk, ice cream, curd, buttermilk etc. An in-depth and detailed demonstration of this type of manufacturing process was witnessed at the company's plant. Mr. R.K. of the company how students do production and supply chain management under the guidance of Pillai, Head, TIS; A very paramount and practical knowledge was gained on this. During this, the students were shown the process of purification, further filtration, standardization, homogenization and pasteurization. After this, came the testing phase under which they check the quality and purity of the milk as per the standards. Mother Dairy is also conserving the environment by using solar panels, rain water harvesting and effluent treatment plants to protect the environment. Relevant questions of all the students were answered through this talk session. After the plant visit, all of us were given flavored milk and ice cream.
